As our project partners, we choose organizations that share our mission and goals. They all fall into one of the following categories and are generally operating within our group of focus countries.
Financial institutions
Formal or informal, for profit or nonprofit, regulated or non-regulated. Providing a range of financial services to disadvantaged clients, including savings, credit and insurance.
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
Privately owned, profit-oriented companies of between 10 and 250 employees. Generally engaged in farming, fishing, mining, manufacturing, construction, commercial trade or services.
Cooperatives
Non-bank institutions mobilizing and intermediating financial and non-financial services. Organized as mutual societies and jointly owned by their members.
Fair Trade organizations
Recognized organizations promoting a trading relationship based on a commitment to social justice, fair pay, sustainability and long-term trade relationships.
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
Non-profit groups serving disadvantaged constituencies with particular social objectives.
