100 % of Oikocredit Atlantic's share capital is invested exclusively in shares of Oikocredit EDCS which in turn pays an annual dividend of up to 2% per year. Oikocredit Atlantic members may opt to donate their dividends to their support association to offset promotion and administrative costs.
Shares can be redeemed at any time at full face value plus any accrued dividend. In addition, under Section 28 of the NS Co-operatives Association Act., shares can be transferred to a designated beneficiary.
