Investing in people A photographic exhibition
This exhibition shares the stories of people who have received loans through three of Oikocredit’s Guatemalan partners. British photographer Tom Bamber volunteers with Oikocredit, and captures these moments when he visited the Central American nation in the summer of 2011.
The exhibition is part of ECCR's members meeting and Open Debate:
The economic downturn has led to increased exploitation of vulnerable workers, including in the UK. The pending 2012 London Olympics bring these issues into sharp focus. What are the threats and opportunities for vulnerable workers, the living wage, trafficking, sexual exploitation, and human rights and labour?
Chair: Victoria Heath, Head of Business Development, EIRIS. Panel speakers to include Diana Johnson MP.
Friends House, Euston Road, London; Thursday 17 November, 4.30-6.15 pm.
