National Ethical Investment Week (NEIW) is an ideal time to raise awareness of Oikocredit and social investment in the UK.
Oikocredit delivers a dual reward to our investors: a modest financial return with a high social impact. If everyone invested part of their savings in social investments like Oikocredit, that would be a powerful force for change in the world. But in general people have just not heard of social investment, or may not think of it as "real" investment.
Would you help by putting up a Oikocredit & NEIW poster? This could be for example: in your local church, Fairtrade shop, workplace, library, university, community hall, wherever you think people will see it. Investment is one of those decisions we tend to put off. So the idea of the week is to inspire people to think about ethical investment now and take action. Oikocredit has been running for nearly 35 years, reaching 17 million people with credit for development through our partners - but not many people have heard of us! You could help to change that.
