Term: You are free to request repayment at any time, though we hope that investors would consider this a long-term investment.
Return: A 2% return has been paid almost every year since 1989. The investment is intended to maximise the social return and pay a modest financial return.
Fees: There are no investment fees or agent commissions.
Risk: Shares have held their value, since 1975 when Oikocredit started, but this does not guarantee the future value which may stay the same or go down. You share the financial risk together with our project partners.
The Prospectus in relation to the offering of Depository Receipts for shares in the capital of Oikocredit, Ecumenical Development Cooperative Society U.A., is only applicable within the UK and Ireland.
