Oikocredit Sunday
To celebrate 30 years of successful development financing ánd the UN Year of Microcredit, Oikocredit organised a so-called Oikocredit Sunday in October 2005, together with local churches worldwide.
The Oikocredit Sunday was celebrated during church services across the globe: from Congo, Uganda, Zambia, South Africa, Benin, India, the Philippines and Kiribati to the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Several churches have announced to be planning their own Oikocredit Sundays later during the year. If you are also interested to organise an Oikocredit Sunday in the last months of 2005, please contact us for more information.
