Regional Portfolio

Oikocredit continues to see remarkable improvements in its development financing operations in Southeast Asia.  As of 30 September 2011, the region's portfolio outstanding stood at € 50.727 million - empowering over 5.3 million disadvantaged people with credit.  

 

Currently, there are 103 active partners composed of microfinance institutions, cooperatives, fair trade organizations, and social enterprises.  The microfinance portfolio includes 58 active projects amounting to €46.47 million capital outstanding.  The non-microfinance portfolio with 45 active projects accounts for € 4.26 million portfolio outstanding.
