SökCOONAPROSAL opens environmentally friendly processing plant

Costa-Rican project partner COONAPROSAL has opened its new environmentally friendly processing plant.
The cooperative, which has received two Oikocredit loans since 2006, will significantly increase its productivity with the new frozen fruit and pulp processing plant. The addition reaches all social and environmental operating standards. All remaining fruit peel will be used for animal feed, and there is also an on-site water treatment plant.
