The Bullock Workers' Development Association (BWDA), is a microfinance institution in South India, supported by Oikocredit, administers savings deposits of 320,000 members and had 260,000 active borrowers. The organization runs a health education and sanitation program, and provides training in financial literacy, bookkeeping and business development. It provides marketing support in the areas of packaging, pricing and access to market. The association has been consistently profitable for at least five years and each year pays its members a dividend.
