Empremta ambiental de
Som conscients de l’impacte ambiental que aquests viatges poden tenir sobre el nostre planeta. Tanmateix, estem prenent totes mesures possibles per minimitzar la seva petjada ecològica. Estem compromesos a contractar fotògrafs i traductors locals per reduir les emissions de carboni associades
als desplaçaments.
A més, estem col·laborant amb agents de viatges locals i adquirint
tots els subministraments necessaris localment, assegurant-nos que donem suport a les economies de les
comunitats que visitem.
A més, les emissions de carboni derivades dels nostres vols seran compensades completament a través del Fair Climate Fund, un projecte certificat per Gold Standard i Fair Trade triat per una empresa certificada B-Corp. Mitjançant aquests esforços, pretenem mitigar l’impacte ambiental dels nostres viatges mentre donem suport a iniciatives sostenibles.

The costs of the trip varies per destination. If selected for the Journey, you will have to arrange your own flights to and from the country you will visiting, as well as visa and vaccinations (if applicable) and the necessary insurances. Travel health insurance in mandatory, while travel cancellation insurance is optional. During the trip, it is advised to have some additional money for buying souvenirs, extra drinks and personal expenses such as telephone calls.

Oikocredit is a social impact organisation. Oikocredit facilitates the organisation of Oikocredit Journeys by an independent travel agency. We are not a travel agency and organising tours or trips is not our main business.

No. The price of the trip is to cover costs for participants only.

Sadly, we aren’t able to accommodate all people of different abilities. While some impairments, such as partial deafness, may be accommodated, our teams aren’t equipped to handle all kinds of differently abled people, such as those in wheelchairs.

To join the SEKEM Journey, participants must be Oikocredit investors, show a strong interest in promoting Oikocredit afterwards, and meet basic conditions such as availability and travel readiness (click here for details).
Oikocredit values diversity in the group and aims to include participants from different backgrounds and regions. Selected participants will be informed by the end of July.
