Oikocredit appoints new Supervisory Board Chair and Vice-Chair

Oikocredit is pleased to announce the election of Arpita Pal Agrawal as the new Chair of the Supervisory Board and Gaston Aussems as Vice-Chair, effective 1 April 2025.
Arpita joined the Supervisory Board in June 2022 and brings over 20 years of experience in financial inclusion, impact investing, and governance, with deep knowledge of the Indian market — a key region for Oikocredit through its subsidiary, Maanaveeya.
This leadership transition follows the conclusion of Cheryl Jackson’s second and final term as Chair. Cheryl has served on the Supervisory Board for six years, including more than three as Chair, fostering collaboration, strengthening dialogue, and helping guide Oikocredit through significant strategic transitions. Cheryl will continue to serve on the Supervisory Board as a member until 6 June 2025.
